NUEVA YORK, Estados Unidos, mayo 30, 2008.- Una grúa de un edificio en construcción se derrumbó esta mañana en la esquina de las calles 91 y de la Primera Avenida en el barrio del Upper East Side de Nueva York, informa la cadena de televisión local NY1.El derrumbe de la grúa afectó la parte superior de la fachada de un edificio colindante de apartamentos, según las imágenes que muestra la televisión local.El Departamento de Bomberos de Nueva York ha sacado a varias personas de los escombros y, de momento, se desconoce el alcance de sus heridas o si hay muertos.El pasado mes de marzo una gigantesca grúa se desplomó entre las avenidas Primera y Segunda, a la altura de las calles 50 y 51 en Manhattan, causando la muerte a siete personas, entre ellas seis obreros que trabajaban en un edificio de 46 pisos en construcción.
